Yeah, comments are taking forever to post, and usually just crap out with a 503 error after about a minute.

Subscriptions stopped working. My regular IP can’t connect to the site anymore.

https://derpiboo.ru suddenly stopped loading for me, but http://derpiboo.ru works. derpibooru.org works in both http and https. I am using derpibooru.org just to post this.

Yea for some time it didn’t load at all.  
Sites like “Is it down” however reported derpibooru working.

Ugh. And 503 errors on the posting still occur. Caused me to doublepost. >_>

There was a network fault on one of the bigger links between the Atlantic and mainland Europe, and host took their sweet time rerouting things.

For me it was a DNS issue. Probably related to the routing problem.

I’ve been trying to upload some pictures, and I keep getting errors saying the picture format is wrong (it’s not - it’s a functioning gif), and that height and width can’t be blank (they wouldn’t be if the uploader knew what a gif is).

File may be malformed somehow. Recommend you resave it in some editor or optimizer, then upload.

D’OH. I managed to put the source URL in the “grab from” field 4 or 5 times in a row. I r dum.

Searching for tags with an underscore in them doesn’t seem to work, I’m guessing because it treats underscores as spaces. This means you have to replace the underscores with asterisks to find things like ‘artist:i_animate_ponymotes’.

Is the site slow for anyone else?

I love the improved Fancy Tags, but this still happens.

Hmmm…

Just tried adding a new tag to my watch list and it cleared out my entire list except the new tag. Anyone else experience this or is it isolated to my account?

There are some pictures that show some really odd behaviour with comments. Like >>253950 or >>431273  
Everything looks normal… until you post something. And you’ll see a completely different list of comments.
 
I’ve reported some but in fact I’m terribly curious about what’s going on there.

Since when did the site staff arbitrarily decide to allow underscores in tags?

Seriously, bugs will happen if presumptions are not kept consistent.

That is NOT a serious bug. It is not a bug at all, at least in relation to the search, but a very specifically implemented and tested feature of the search library because of how search and tagging was originally designed.
 
Did someone seriously undo the underscore translation just for a single artist tag? There’s a reason my artist tag is artist:k-anon and not artist:k_a.
 
✳ OK, tag searching will search for underscores literally now, and the documentation has been updated accordingly.

Yeah. I updated tag search (as well as the fancy tag autocompletion thing) a week or so ago, forgot this case. But I’m not sure underscores ever worked on that before anyway.  
Never touched anything else regarding to underscores though.
 
In other news: searching for tags with spaces is now broken: zoe trent fails to compute. Dunno what broke that because I know that part worked a week ago.

It sounds to me like a network issue. This site’s location has always been prone to peering issues in particular, which can affect the entire ISP.
