**Not able to fetch art links. Why is that?**

Dear Site mods/ users in the know, I have been trying to fetch a drawing from Deviantart to post on Derpibooru but I have no idea what is going on. It worked before but what’s going on now?

Is this because of the NFT stuff that’s been going around lately? I just want to know what’s going on.

Likely cause: DA doesn’t serve some images to users that aren’t logged in (like adult rated stuff, or stuff the artist chose to be so); as the site isn’t a user, DA blocks attempts for it to get the image.

You’ll have to download the image and upload it from your machine, unfortunately.

Alternatively, DA banned the scrapper’s IP, again. They don’t like other sites (or their own users).

i think that’s the case.

past few days, literally anything i try and copy over from DA, it won’t let me

Or it could be the Deviantart Protect system that they now developed to combat NFT’s
