i remember the first thing dad told me before I made my first account on some game forum (i was around 8) that you should NEVER tell your password, not even to close friends, let alone public. And I’ve remembered that to this day.

Enough people soiled themselves and shrieked like toddlers this year over [checks notes] …a My Little Pony image booru changing its display theme for a day and a half, that next year’s prank might very well be a sitewide redirect to a “No joke this year! Go outside and make some friends!” sign.

That wasn’t the problem I had. While I didn’t like the theme, I didn’t mind that a joke like that was done. I did want to change it back though since it felt odd, but as an option.
