Is there a way to view deleted comments?

I was viewing a random image and then i realized there was a barrage of deleted comments, which i found odd as this image didnt really apply to the farleft/farright scale most controversial posts lead to. So im just wondering if theres a archive of comments anywhere if i feel curious about the discussion of a certain image

The whole point of deleting comments is for them not not be viewable. What you’re “curious about” may as well be a barrage of child porn, snuff photos, the names and addresses of various people, links to malware sites, or, at best, something more “innocuous” like random people bitching about their IRL ex-lover or copy-pasting in the Bee Movie script.

understandable, but why not just the ones that arent well, illegal. one of the things i find the most fun here is ppl getting so mad to the point of page long debates over diaper porn.
also ppl just venting about their ex on HERE also sounds pretty funny
