Is Personal Advertising aloud?

I lost my computer last month, and was thinking of starting a gofundme since my art was the only way I was making any money, and I cant afford a new pc on my own. Can I make an upload with the purpose of notifying people I need help? Or is that against site rules?  
I would check, but cant remember how to find the site rules.

This is probably against the rules, unless you draw a brand new artwork about it, and it has pony-related things on it.

Well it wont be a pretty drawing, all I have is a crummy laptop with off colors and Microsoft paint.
