I’d be interested in this too - hypothetically speaking for now. Will the admins completely purge all data associated with our accounts upon request? I don’t mean images we’ve uploaded or anything, but every database record which actually identifies us (username, email address, filter settings, etc).
Since they’ll delete images on request, surely they must be willing to do the same for accounts, right?

Which parts do you want to delete? I might write a script which can automatically un-fave every image and (possibly) delete every comment (I’m not sure if they can be deleted for logged in users).
It could even back all your filter settings/likes/faves/watches/etc. up to an XML or JSON file for easy import into a new account.

You can’t. Renaming is possible under certain circumstances.
If you want to remove the possibility to access your account, set your email to a random string of characters, and then set your password to another random string of characters. Boom, job done, you will not be able to log in again.

A better question might be why? There’s probably at least a partial solution to your problem which doesn’t require a total account deletion.

Change your password to something completely random that you’ll never remember so you can’t log in to your account.

One of my fondest memories as a kid is watching the g1 cartoon on vhs back in the mid 90s with my sister.
When friendship is magic started I initially only watched it for the nostalgia value but slowly realized I genuinly cared about the characters and loved the show. I haven’t been able to make friends for 10 years so a show about friendship genuinly appealed to me.
This franchise will always hold a special place in my heart but i just cant bring myself to empathise,sympathise or root for it’s new protagonist. I have watched the season 6 premier 3 times now but I cant shake these negative feelings toward her no matter how I try to rationalise them. Something about starlight is anethama to me and the bitterness is like a vice squeezing my insides. I thought I could handle it but these feelings are starting to stress me out and effect my ability to enjoy the show.
I guess I just became to emotionally invested in something that was never meant for me and it’s time to take a step back. I hope this show remains successful for a long time and continues to bring people happiness, but for me it has run it’s course.
