How to add exceptions to filters?

How do I add exceptions to filters? I have humans and anthro filtered out on my custom filter, but I still want to be able to see images with anon in it. How would I go about doing that?

In the complex hide field, you can use search syntax for filtering, and search syntax allows negations. Put “(human OR anthro), -oc:anonymous” in it and remove “human” and “anthro” from the main hide list.
