Yeah, that’s why I wasn’t sure it’s a good idea. It’s something I’d like, but not sure if it would really benefit the board.

I’d certainly like to have one when a mod makes edits, to tags or to descriptions (it can stay anonymous, since that’s our style now).

Search for tags by regular expression?
For example, (/\w**\d+\w**/) (surrounded in quotes so you can still search stuff like /mlp/) would bring up 7, tag9, blah14blah, and 52things, but not 2spooky4me, foobar, over 9000, and symbo|s4ren'tallow€d

Well, you could make it so that the ability to delete uploads is only available for maybe 2-3 minutes after upload. That way, if ever one does somehow upload the wrong thing, they’re given a short amount of time to rectify it. Also, you could lock upload deletion if someone has already commented, even if it’s still within the time limit (ie. if someone comments with the time limit, the upload is locked in).

I wanted to say how much I love the new spoilered thumbnail-viewing feature, but I couldn’t find the thread. :p Then I thought, oh, I can just check for barbeque’s started threads/comments, but I remembered we can’t do that yet either. :p

Maybe an view before uploading option would be a good idea. So you can check if everything is alright. Image, resolution, source, tags, description ect.
So it would be certain that you don’t upload accidentally.

Is it a “feature” or a “bug” that episode spoiler Spoilered images are now a list of all the tags for that image instead of the old Next Tuesday Twilight? Some of those tags are themselves spoilers, so this seems like a really terrible idea if it was done intentionally.

Known bug. Clients only request new info for their spoilered/hidden tags once a week, but for some reason in case of a spoilerpic change, the server doesn’t keep the old pic accessible for a week as well (which it should).
You can clear your localstorage, or just wait a day or two and it will fix itself.

But hey at least it’s clear it’s supposed to be spoilered and on what tags.

… I don’t know how I missed that. Probably because it’s expected behaviour, and as such I just saw the black bar and ignored the rest of the image. I never even read the tags.

Anyway, mod-edited the post for now. Yeah, I don’t like people dropping a “lol spoiler for upcoming episode” in a place where they don’t belong too.

Wow, I’m a dumbass, sorry about that; I uploaded the wrong blasted PNG and didn’t even notice. There were two of those on the page, and I screencapped this one just as an example of what I was talking about in case it was only happening on my end; I actually realized this one had real spoilers in it and made a second PNG of the other one since it was just standard CMC and animated GIF tags and I didn’t want to be a jerk about it, and ended up being a jerk about it anyway. -_-;

Even then, sometimes the spoilers go too far back. Sometimes I can’t remember if the most recent episode was the 14th or the 15th, and I have to double-check, because the 13th episode on is spoilered.

Some do, others do everything they can to avoid spoilers. Having Spoiler tags with the title name which can spoil part of the episode all over the site kind of makes their lives much harder.
