Explanation of update to Rule #0 for consistency and clarity especially in regards to racism

Loving the “transparency” with images being silently deleted in the vain hopes no one will notice. Like it was pointed out above, one of the two noted here was no worse, and in face better, than most guro images and the other was a meme. And who knows how many others have been removed.  
I wouldn’t expect a response from staff and if you do get one it’ll just be bullshitting another excuse for why what they like is okay and what they don’t isn’t. It’s looking like they’re finally done pretending that this isn’t just an ideological crusade under the banner of Teaspoon.

Some part of me kinda wishes they would just lean one side or another instead of this dilly dally nonsense of bans based on how the mods feel today. If they full radical left and start an SJW crusade on derpibooru i could finally put it to rest as a failed archive and if they would stop this mishapen attempt to satisfy ALMOST NOONE and just let art be art then i could enjoy derpibooru again.

Call me paranoid but I’d wager that’s exactly what they want. The longer the frustration continues the more people tire of it until weary sighs and pleas for submission are all the prospect of defiance either way can muster.  
It was their modus operandi from day zero, and now the fires have cooled, at least relative to the time prior to their touted clarifications, it will be so again.

Probably, and once again the staff is using the “bait” thing totally biased.  
Look at the mouthpiece tag, there’s a lot of bait to make people upset in the comments, but because they fits with the staff’s political view they won’t delete them when clearly they’re made to bait, which is rule breaking.  
And yeah, also how that pic was deleted, they’ll probably delete comments here and lock the thread, as always.

I agree, the staff has offered nothing but condemnation of things they don’t like, regardless of the content involved. Staff has lost the right to call this an archive at all. You have an ethical obligation now to stop using that word. This place is no longer for the entirety of the fandom. You haven’t answered anyone’s claims of bias, aside from Derpy’s answer that you are doing things out of an ideological bias.

An ethical obligation certainly, what remains to be seen is if their ethical sense outweighs their greed. Seeing how it couldn’t counter their ideological bias I much doubt it will be the case, especially with a leader who’s evidently alright with compiling information to doxx people not only for their political bent but for things as petty as the sites they frequent.

The screenshot is an obvious fake. It attempted portraying a DM, but displayed nickname colors. DMs don’t have name colors, only servers do.

I figured it likely was fake, but you people don’t exactly have a good track record with comments and I didn’t feel right just disbelieving it. And you guys have a very nasty habit of deleting things that point out those bad comments.

How often you guys want to continue to try to push the narrative that nazi images is the same thing as being a nazi. Noone is arguing about or for the merits of the nazi ideology…

Pictures depicting Aryanne would be simply banned on any normal website, but these ret persons still manage to complain about said infringement of freedom of expression when only explicitly racism advocating images are banned.  
Just because we are weird nerds with unusual interests, that doesn’t mean we should not be able to understand the consequences of our acts, and blindly jump into nihilism where everything has the same value and everything is allowed like on this imageboard I won’t name. Because “dude, nazis have just different opinion, let them just debate freely with us.”.  
The new rule is, in my opinion, insufficient. Picture depicting hateful ideology may lead to unconscious acceptation of said ideology, and if this happens, administrators are clearly responsible.

This was an archival site, which means that many things that are allowed here would be simply banned on any “normal” site.
 

 
Until the push-back from anti-censorship, all depictions of Nazi imagery were banned under edited #0. This includes any image of Aryanne, without considering context of image.
