Downvotes / Hiding Survey

I would like a hide button for individual images because I downvote any picture I’m not interested in even if I don’t think its bad

The survey might need a slight tweak.
 
There was no option for not penalyzing someone suspected of “spamming or brigading”. I don’t think this will provide a proper perspective in the end as you’ll only get results from people that DID want it.

I lack a Google account myself. I feel that keeping the downvote and adding a hide button would be a good idea.

There have been times where I’ve up-voted things I don’t care for just because they made me laugh. One example is a hyper muscle picture of Cheerilee.

This. I’m sick and tired of those thin-skinned people that draw nothing but ugly and degenerate art, as this one (I warn you, it’s really disgusting: >>1490643)

Just took the survey. I think having both a downvote and hide button would be a good compromise. I want to make sure as many options are given to each user as possible.

I know, I know. I wish it had been a lot more disgusting, but I lack real skills of creepiness. Oh, well. I did my best though.

My two cents: disable voting on thumbnails.

I’ve only ever seen it “abused” a handful of times.
 
I’ve seen things where it’s claimed to have been abused, be it fetish art or inherently controversial topics, but that’s not really abuse. When you supply for a niche audience you should expect a niche reaction. It’s kind of what niche means.
 
If you make Scat-Loli-Goru-Rape Porn, you can’t complain when the general populous downvotes it, you put it up publicly for everyone to see and if you can’t take a little red arrow being clicked, or lord forbid, a number with a hyphen before it. You shouldn’t be posting such things to begin with. Like the old saying goes, if you can’t handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Not everyone is going to be nice and filter things, sometimes it’s because they’re like me and generally execution matters more than subject, other times they’re just assholes.
 
An artist getting their cock in a twist because they got downvoted isn’t the staffs’ problem, it’s not the users’ problem either, it’s the artist’s problem. And if they cannot handle negative reception to their artwork, they shouldn’t be posting it publicly

I don’t think the people sugessting an opt in or out of downvotes option know what they are asking for, because any artist who makes things they know will get auto downvotes who disables it will instead draw the ire of the worst users here who will scream “Muh freedom of speech” and likely harass the user, put bluntly, the only option to stop down votes being used by jerks for jerk reasons to almost exclussive levels is to just remove the feature and let the cry babies whine themselves out, Or require them to leave at least a 100 character comment to down vote,
