What are the total amount from Patron thresholds needed for those badges again?

Iirc:

Bronze was $5, silver was $10, gold was $20-25, and platinum was $50

This only applies to the tier you subbed to (eg if you subbed to silver tier you’d only have the silver badge unless you subbed to a lower/higher tier)

Also the site doesn’t use patreon anymore. Subscribestar and ko-fi is the main place for donating to the site now

I always forget that’s what the Subscribestar donations are for. And according to my notes it’s $2 a month, though I got an impression that the amount total does count for something (though I have been wrong before).

One-time donations will also get you a badge.

How are metadata updates calculated? Is it a raw number of tags added/removed that have not been reverted or is it the number of images whose metadata you’ve edited?

I think it’s the number of images you add/remove tags from, not the actual amount if tags

It basically counts how many times you hit Save in the tag/source editor after actually making a change (so if you open the editor and hit Save without changing anything, it won’t count).

EDIT: I have this strange recollection that it used to work differently. Maybe it did count actual additions and removals at some point?

Yeah, but since we can also get a count of actual tags changed to compare with the metadata change saves made, that conceit will have short tracks.

Of course, you’ll still get the badge, of course, given your tagging history is otherwise kosher. But you miiiiight end up getting a special alt text for your badge to commemorate your very special efforts.

Hey, looks like I finally apply for the Fine Arts badge! Been looking forward to this one for a while. Also, I’m pretty sure I should get Magical Inkwell as well, since I’ve had my FimFic linked to my profile for months now.

Just linking to a FIMfiction profile isn’t enough for the writer’s badge. The link must be verified (using the same system as artist links) to ensure that profile belongs to you, and you also need to have published a MLP fanfic of about 1500 words or longer.

I have indeed posted a couple fics longer than 1500 words, but I guess I missed something with the verification system. I’ll check again

I think the problem I’m having is that when I go to do the verification, it asks for an artist tag, but because I’m not an artist, there’s no tag to give? so I’m unable to submit anything
