2023 I’m not in, because i had no fitting Image, but my Request was justforthe 2022 version, the 2023 I not have mentioned.

We have badges for people who’ve been here after ponibooru went down. But what about badges for other long time members? Like a badge for people with 10 year old accounts?

I don’t think there’s anything like that, unfortunately

A shame. We dedicate some 1/8 of our life to the website and they can’t even spare us a few colored pixels.

I don’t know what’s unfortunate about it. That’s what all the other badges are supposed to signify.

The other badges signify feats or accomplishments.

This one would be basically be a “Thank you for staying with us for all these years. Here’s a participation trophy.”

Just ‘happen to be there’ April fools badges doesn’t seem like much of a “feat or accomplishment”. I’d say those are the participation trophies there.

Participation trophy implies there are non-participation trophies as well. Prizes are given to those who achieve something special, and participation trophies are given out to the other participants—in common understanding, to spare the feelings of the losers. Therefore, if prizes aren’t given out, and every participant gets the same thing, it’s an event memento, not a participation trophy. We’re not calling conference goodie bags or class rings participation trophies, are we?

It’s unfortunate because it seems so arbitrary a time period to give those badges for and also because the arbitrariness cuts against me hahaha (okay, just to make sure that the strike through does its job, I’m almost entirely kidding)

I realize I should have posted this earlier, but anyway…

Do you know if I qualify for the Notoriously Divine Tagger badge yet? I’ve been adding the original description to my uploads from the beginning, and have additionally been uploading images well-stocked with fitting tags for a while now. My only question is if I have the proper amount needed to qualify yet (I don’t know if there’s a minimum - the wording of “consistently” is quite vague)
