Easiest badges are probably the Speaking Fancy badge (helping with translating images from one language to another), the artist badge (having a verified artist tag) or the happy derpy badge (donating at least $1 to the site)

It’s not so much a number of images, but a lifestyle. Start translating images, and at some point someone will give you the badge if you are genuinely helpful and at least trying to be accurate.

The artist badges are usually requested by the artist clicking the “Artist Links” button on their profile.
This gives them a unique verification code that they post on the gallery that they are using to verify their identity, and it creates a new request for someone on staff to verify the artist’s identity in a separate work list.
We can start the process for them, but then they don’t get the verification code, and they don’t get the instructions for how to use it.
So, it is better if artists request that themselves.
