Tell the mods, (which you just did), and they can sort it out.

I think I had about 120 images under my artist tag before I got a badge but if the mods don’t know they can’t badge you.

on your profile you have an artist links thing, link your Derpibooru profile and wait a few days (that’s what i did)

This question probably was already asked somewhere in the thread, I just don’t know how to search for it.

I heard Derpibooru badges are assigned to users manually by mods. So I just being curious why wasn’t this process automatized? At least some badges like ‘artist’ or ‘artist who rocks’ seem to be possible to assign automatically, since the assignment conditions are relatively easy to check (for example if user associated with an artist’s tag and there is art with this artist’s tag posted on the site).

Because one could just mis-tag things and quickly revert the wrong tags to still get the badge. Thus still involving staff in the process.

A whole lot of things on the site could be automated, and in the past many were.

Unfortunately assholes like to abuse these sort of automated systems, and it only takes a few (or for some things just one) to mess things up, annoy (at best) thousands of other users, and need a whole lot of staff time to clean up.

(also, stuff can sometimes be buggy)

Is there a minimum upload requirement to get the “Notoriously Divine Tagger” badge :? I felt that I might qualify but I haven’t uploaded that much. >w>).
