That has no relation to this place at all. Before the rules, the number of Aryanne pic uploaded for June were… 2. One is a joke followup of a comic (where the joke of the comic is that Aryanne is a nazi and tries to corrupt her grandchild.) and the other is an “edit of a “”“famous”” Kirby shitposting pic. (oh no hitler and kirby, that means kirby is a nazi now.)
 
You can’t possibly say either have any “secret recrutment plan” at play.

Frequency and intent don’t matter to these people. They’re totalitarians. They will not stop until they have absolute control of everything.

 
Why is this an issue at all other than a mod saying “it hurts my feelings to see things I like disliked”? Votes and scores are supposed to represent the feelings of the userbase. As long az there isnt a group of people or bots running around brigading pics I dont see the problem. The staff is allegedly against vote manipulation but it’s ok to manipulate votes themselves.

I mean, the staff have attempted to remove downvotes twice. It’s really easy to see what the legs of the shadowbans stick out of.

What’s the story with the shadowbans anyway? If you downvote BLM too many times they block you or something?

Basically, if you downvote BLM or ACAB pics you get them forcibly filtered and yourself blocked from changing metadata (including up/downvotes and faves) on them, with zero warning or disclosure. Allegedly even if you only downvote two inflammatory ones and upvote some neutral ones (which, if true, would be ULTRA BLATANT FAVORITISM. I mean, moreso than it already is, which is pretty damn blatant).
 
For context, “shadowban” refers to a ban where you can still see something, or even attempt to patricipate, but your patricipation is invisible to everyone else - for obvious reasons this kind of ban isn’t announced to the shadowbanned user; it was extended by analogy of invisibility to Derpi tagbans, where you’re blocked from voting on or seeing (unless linked directly) the images you’re banned from, but nothing tells you that you’re actually banned and for what reason.
 
P.S. Weirdly enough, despite the mentioned Operation Pridefall, I’ve seen no reports of anyone getting shadowbanned over downvoting gay content or Pride Month art/propaganda, it’s all specifically BLM/ACAB. You’d think the mods would use this kinda system against the thing they claimed was the #1 issue at the time.

Ah, that would explain why i stopped seeing them. They expanded the ban.

Just want to point out images like >>2388194 are very clearly promoting anarchy, considering the stance the mouthpiece has taken on the whole BLM movement. Yet apparently this is perfectly acceptable.

But that doesn’t allow promoting the ideology! Even though almost half of the users who bothered to vote have downvoted it, and I am pretty sure vast majority of propaganda pics are, to borrow Reddit’s terminology, “controversial” and have very large amount of both up and downvotes.
 
Okay it’s probably not clear enough, so: I find it colossally ironic, and funny, that the staff have to lock comments even on propaganda of their own side.

All the sites that fall down the woke hole do this, they shut down discussion because their views are purely emotional and any ounce of reasoning dismantles their rage fulled lunacy.

I’m probably going to stay unsubbed. Just have a quick point to make about “trivializing”, in case no one else said it.

The staff being a-ok with communism but treating nazi imagery like satanspawn is the result of media indoctrination. “Nazi” has become such a taboo word it’s unbelievable. Who cares if communism has resulted in multitudes of deaths more than national socialism, right? It’s not a hot topic on the social medias so it’s ok!
 
It’s very hard for an individual to break that conditioning. It requires strong introspection, which the staff appear to be lacking judging by their complete lack of response.
