I wholeheartedly agree there is a issue of bias from BOTH sides in the moderation team.
 
So if your stance is “Rule change is fine” then it’d be acceptable.

I disagree on your assertion that there are ‘sides’ within the moderation team.  
Their public stance has been unified on this through Luna and these rules were crafted with that stance in mind.  
Ultimately I dislike the change.

I like change, just not this change. If the change had widened freedom of expression, I would support it.

I also agree on ending the fighting. Personally I would’ve liked them having a harder stance so not really happy, but I accept this outcome.

I actually went freakin’ blind towards the end of the previous elections so basically did nothing for 4 years, lol.  
Actually also kiiinda forgot about (modern) pony for a bit, tho kept up with the previous gens/toy trading.  
Eventually got some ‘retinal prosthetic’ which isn’t perfect but adequate enough I can resume my old activities save flying/diving (due to pressure changes) and, uh, fighting (for obvious reasons) until technology advances a bit further. (Also got robbed like 5 frigging times by gov workers)
 
Won’t be around a heck of a lot, tho, current elections + needing to catch up everywhere else too, but I heard about the drama nuke and decided to check out what was up. Also, surprised to come out of my blindness to find Filly Funtasia finally started, too! Huzzah! Extra unexpected pony!  
 
Feel like my ‘unique expertise’ could’ve been helpful about a month ago, but alas, who could’ve guessed!

I’m just tired. One biased change after another. Mods can’t process the simple idea as saying “All members of “profession name” are “swear word”” falls under both “Do not post content whose only apparent purpose is inciting anger, arguments, or controversy” and “Do not harass others or try to incite violence against them. Harassment can include namecalling, slanderous speech, or other forms of abusive language”. I’m just curious how many minutes image saying “All BLM supporters are “swear word”” will last until getting Rule#0-ed. What? BLM consists of members of all colors, so it will not fall at paragraph 3 (about race). Also let’s not look only at names of organizations. Saying BLM is about black lives so it’s racism to call them names is like believing that PETA is about ethical treatment of animals. And like we’ve seen with ACAB, if you generalize about it, it is allowed, right? Right?
 
You created a monster. And now you are desperately trying to hold it in bridle to not piss either of groups too much. But like we’ve seen with one very vocal (((artist))), Twittermites are still pissed because you did not ban every single depiction of RaCiSm.
 
Also not wanting to address this change is ridiculous. It clearly changes what is allowed and what is not to say or upload here. Hiding this will just result in unnecessary interactions with staff and image takedowns.

The head staff have proven time and time again that they’re completely untrustworthy.  
TSP still idly talks on Twitter but doesn’t seem to be able to come onto his own site to actually say anything. I don’t even care what he would say at this point, I just want him to have the balls to come out and say something. Anything.  
Same goes for the other “site administrators”, because recently it’s only Princess Luna that’s actually been saying anything.
