Sorry, that view was something we had on BOR, but now it requires doing some console-fu. So there’s only a handful of people on the site who can get you that info, and right now they’re mostly busy getting the new changes finalized.

Hopefully we can get an answer soon.

Though I wonder what the most watched tag is…

My guess would be that hundreds of users filter this tag would be near the top of filtered tags.

Seeing how many people filter a tag is still possible for staff, but getting a “top ten” would be through console (unless you just go tag by tag and do it manually…)

Until last-monthish, yes.

iirc last time it was checked (several years ago), it was unsurprisingly fetish stuff (farts, fat etc., diapers, and so on).

I’d imagine it also misses anything that’s a complex filter - for example, except when I’m using the “Everything” filter due to having a tagging addiction which is all the time my filter hides things like particular artists’ pictures that have particular characters, or certain phrases with wildcards because there are several variations of tags involving that concept, or hiding certain things only if they have 0 comments, which hints at them being uninteresting.

But TBH there’s probably only a tiny minority of users who filter like that.

I only hide things in my watchlist, and it’s kind of useless because of what I hide being super normie things. I’m assuming that whatever I’m not into a vast majority of users are into.

I’m not really bothered by that stuff, I just prefer to be able to browse a list of images that ISN’T full of stuff I’m not into at least once a day. In theory anyway…

I guess I’m one of the few who actually doesn’t filter that tag…

Can you un-hide an image you hid by pressing the Hide button accidentally? Just wondering 🤔🙂

Yea, click on Show Hidden button and you’ll be able to see and unhide any images you’re hidden before.

Not even close. I only have manually collected stats over a couple dozen tags but even if I exclude obvious stuff like “extreme” fetishes, orientation related stuff, and questionable relevancy status, “hundreds of users filter this tag” isn’t quite close to the top, it comes to just a little above 400 combined spoilers and hides.

For comparison’s sake, I have three artist tags that beat it easily:
One spoilered and hidden by more than 900 filters, with quite a lot of watchers.
One spoilered and hidden by more than 700 filters.
One spoilered and hidden by about 550 filters, also one of our most watched artist tags.

I was going to add that it’s also about how many people use whatever filter, but then I realized probably hardly anyone uses filters besides their own (or system filters).

Derpi doesn’t seem to be able to fetch from direct image links through Nitter instances. For example, trying to fetch this (alt instance example 1, alt instance example 2) says “No image found at that address.” Why’s that?
