Just like your previous question in this thread, which was told was off-topic, this thread is about asking the mods questions related to the operation of the site, what with the thread being in the “Site and Policy” forum.

You might be on-topic if asking the question in the Ask the mods anything thread in the “General Discussion” forum.

Are we gonna get a “pony with care” banner for the site now that the Make Your Mark special aired yesterday?

I remain at 3 open reports and unable to report anything, so, will mods please evaluate the following for Rule #3:

It’s been brought up multiple times over the years, and generally it’s not desired; it’d likely create a competitive feel to comment sections, with people vying for the “sickest memes” or whatever, or dunking on unpopular opinions. People fighting for the quick endorphin response from a one-up and loads and loads of people feeling depressed because no one cared about their comment, or worse, someone gave it a single downvote…

Not worth. Reddit exists and all that.

How would you feel about reaction emojis to images?

I can’t think of any meaningful emoji reactions that would
a) not be easily used “wrong” to snark at uploaders/uploads, or worse
b) boil down to a secondary upvote/downvote + favourite system.

Having a one-dimensional endorsement system for a few opinion based tags however… probably never gonna happen but at least I can see that adding some sort of value/functionality.

Can we get an option to block threads so I don’t have to look at them like blocked tags?

Is it possible to update the tag list on the upload page (the one that gives shortcuts for things like episide/character names and such) to include the G5 material (characters, the movie abd specials, ect) too or is it just going to stay focused on g4 stuff for now?

I’m not sure if this was asked before (Or for that matter, if I did ask before), but just wondering… If I hide a conversation, and then the other person replies to that same conversation, will I see it as a new message, the conversation will ‘unhide’ or the message won’t reach me?

Test results: if you hide a conversation (PM) then it does exactly what you’d expect - you don’t see replies to it.

So, it does just what it says on the tin.

Would a mod please have a look at my Rule #1 report that has been “In-progress” for 11 days?

This appears to have happened again, where >>2865264 (a PNG, free of artifacts) was merged into >>2881237 (merged) (a JPG with visible artifacts)

Unfortunately, I cannot open a report about these because I remain with three reports that have stayed open or in progress for days.
