So should I report he images and ask to have the uploader be reverted from bgp to me now?

Why do Background Ponies’ hashes/discriminators seem to not always display the same? eg. when someone has replied to a BP’s comment and the quoted #ABCD is not the same as shown on the original comment at that moment?
 
[edit for clarity] I’m not talking about a particular BP getting the same #ABCD on different posts, I mean strictly on a singular extant comment, over time.

There was a change at one point that affected how background pony IDs were calculated, which in turn changed all the IDs on the site as they are calculated on-the-fly when people view pages.
 
However, since replies just store the name as it was at the time, those don’t get updated, which causes the mismatch.

The data we use to generate BP IDs may also change for individual posters over time, for example if they start posting from home and then continue replying from a Starbucks…

Use this link to search through your hidden pics. In general you have a button on the top right of the search page that says “show hidden”, that adds a “&hidden=1” to your search URL, which lets you see your hidden images.

Where is the “I’m feeling pony” button

I thought I had subscriptions disabled, but I just got a notification on a thread I commented in (for the first time in years). I’ve looked in my settings, account and profile, and can’t find any way to change subscriptions or notifications anymore.

We suggest that, at least for the time being, you avoid commenting if you want to avoid being subscribed to a thread.

Ah, I was just looking for information regarding literally exactly this.
 
But then I couldn’t find a Search feature for the forums anymore. (It’s in the drop-down menu and also in the thread-view. No link on the main forum interface itself.)  
And then the forum search interface was utterly different.  
And then I tried to search for information about the forum software having changed, but the search term “forum” seems to return every post, and a search for “software” yielded no results. (Neither did “subscribe”.)  
Hard to tell if these are intended changes, and/or user error, or bugs. So, I came to this thread.

So, what is the Wilson Score and how does it work?

Wilson’s scoring algorithm tries to guess what the real ratio of upvotes to downvotes would be if infinitely many people voted. As the number of votes becomes larger and larger, the Wilson score becomes closer and closer to the ratio (upvotes ÷ total votes), meaning it guesses less and relies on the actual number of votes more. When the total number of votes is smaller, the algorithm gives much more weight to downvotes than it does to upvotes.
 
An image with 500 upvotes and 10 downvotes has a Wilson-99.5 score of 0.957; upvotes ÷ total votes = 0.980  
An image with 50 upvotes and 1 downvote has a Wilson-99.5 score of 0.852; upvotes ÷ total votes = 0.980  
An image with 5 upvotes and 1 downvote has a Wilson-99.5 score of 0.336 (very pessimistic!); upvotes ÷ total votes = 0.833

Does Rule #5 apply to links in descriptions, or just the art itself? >>2156373 isn’t the first one I’ve seen where an image that’s been cropped or edited to meet site rules has a link to a Pixiv or FA page with a full image that doesn’t meet the rules.

What happened to the graph on the stats page? Yesterday it was completely gone and today it returned, but it’s completely stripped of features and the scales are gone.
