never saw the original ECW but I have to ask:
 
If paul heymann is such a creative genius (enough for some to say vince should give control of the wwe to heymann to save it) and the wwe should adopt the original ecw’s style, why did the original ecw fail?
 
i know they had some money problems (wrestlers did not get paid near and during the end. strange that dixie carter gets a lot of flak for that but heymann got a pass) but is that all it took for ecw to die?

There was also the fact that their insurance coverage was bare bones and they were tasked to do stuff that even by the Attitude Era would be a Big No.

wcw was criticized for giving away ppv caliber matches on tv for free (mostly cruiserweight stuff but it was a market that they sadly ignored) so why isn’t ecw given the same treatment for their hardcore stuff(meaning they have to go beyond 12 if they’re going to do ppvs)?

Also, this might be a tough time for WWE. With Brock done with his feud, Randy and Cena both taking time off, and Seth injured, who are they gonna rely on for main eventers?

That or people can actually see through the BS. I’ve never been a fan of the Bellas since Day One when they first came in the company. It was only after they returned in 2013, that people starting raving about them. If you’re a fan of the Bellas, more power to you. But in my eyes, they’re trash.
