Asian countries are notoriously lacking in mental health infrastructure.

My parents also gave me and my bro a lot of freedom, which is uncharacteristic of what people stereotypically think of Asian families. It’s because my dad saw how the tiger parenting method destroyed one of his childhood friends he swore off ever considering that method on us.

But I wasn’t given much autonomy other. I still have issues making decisions on my own for one. Theoretically, I should have ended up like Chris… But I didn’t. Probably because

A- My parents cared about us.
B- Regardless of the situation,they’ve always HAMMERED the proper social ettiquetes into our heads as children.
C- I have a sibling who has corrected my behaviors throughout my life whenever I did something or was about to do anything foolish.
D- I’m not as socially isolated as someone like Chris is. Despite preferring to be alone due to my social awkwardness.

Better or Worse?? It highly depends on the parents, and… luck and skill, nobody can tell, but one thing, there’s never too much freedom as a kid there. If he’s raised with balance, he might be a different person than what we know today.

Creator of Pokemon is also an Aspie, albeit with enough skills and luck to be success.

Cartoons particularly the fandoms, including anime and furry. Tend to be magnets for those in the “special” spectrum.
And into adulthood.
Which is partly why the drama and issues surrounding those fandoms tend to be… Out there.

Some people in the autistic spectrum tend to think outside the box. Which is something some artists, content creators, actors, and people in the creative sphere have in fact utilized to their advantage. It provides certain quirks to their characters that couldn’t really be easily replicated by most.

By “persuade” I mean, it’s in human nature to always seek rewards after doing something after all.
If it just for charity, less likely gonna happen.

I remember a story from his childhood where a neighborhood girl tricked him into thinking Casper the friendly ghost lived under his house. Chris fell for it, and when he went into the crawlspace to find Casper, she locked him in, and left. Eventually, his Dad had to unlock it.
That same girl also tried to trick him into eating a poison flower… Yet, despite all this he still considered her a friend.

A normal child would probably learn a lesson from this, (or develop trust issues) but for Chris this kinda thing would happen all through their life… A sad bit of foreshadowing…

It also makes me think CWC has other undiagonsed mental issues.

For someone who is mentally stuck as a child. His interests seem to have little idea how most younger folks think these days. Nor does he seem to be able to pick up recent trends beyond the boomer shit his parents got him into and stuff from the mainstream late 1990s. He seems to think chicks these days are into those kind of stuff.

I bet you he doesn’t even know Pokemon is in the 9th gen right now and that the franchise just retired Ash Ketchum as the protagonist of the anime.
I’d like to know how he’d react to this…

He treats everyone as some sort of cartoon character. Or worse, one of his toys/possessions.
This is a person who thought he could write to Santa to “gift” him a “boyfriend free sweetheart”. Let that sink in.

The guy clearly lacks the ability to see others as humans. As much as he insists he could.

People often say that he wouldn’t be like this if he wasn’t autistic. Some would beg to disagree. If anything, his autism actually kept him “tame” and made him inept to pull off anything serious for the most part.
Autism or not, he’s a shitty person at heart.
Could you imagine him being competent in what he does? And succeed? That would be a scary and dangerous scenario to think of. I would go as far as to say he’d be a serial predator/rapist, or a serial killer. Mass shooter. Because he does display all the warning signs. It’s just that he is ironically and thankfully incompetent at whatever he does.

However, it is quite curiously baffling why he isn’t suicidal. Because most in his shoes would have considered doing the… you know. I’m not advocating this in any way. But after observing the behaviors of many who are seemingly likeminded as him. It usually ends up with them offing themselves, maybe even taking some others with them in the process.

I’m rather impressed that he still thinks life is even worth living considering the state of his. Never has he ever expressed any, zil, suicidal thoughts in his life.

It’s quite hilarious how Ash Ketchum, the very character that Chris once looked up to as a kid, has grown much more in character than Chris himself has, who’s basically stuck as a 8 year old mentally. Despite the fact that Ash is eternally physically 10 and is a fictional character.
If anything, Ash, past the first, second and third generation, behaved more like an adult character than a kid in the later generations.

Speaking of which. Since the Pokemon Official franchise representatives have officially came out with the news that they are finally retiring Ash as the anime MC after a couple decades and a half. I’m now curious as to how Chris would take the news. Since it’s well known this guy doesn’t take change well. Even by standards among most autistic folks.

If he’s even aware of the new Pokemon games.
We know from a few letters from jail that he is somewhat aware of the whole Russo-Ukraine War, although a childish take on it. The Monkey Pox and stuff.
Is he even aware MLP G5 is already airing?
I don’t even think he’s aware the Queen is dead… this one maybe, but he’s not mentioned anything about it.

I recall, CWC hates traditional masculinity, and didn’t get along with males growing up. I wouldn’t blame previous decades for that, as honestly the 80s/90s in some ways were quite progressive.

And honestly toxic behavior still exists, but it’s not exclusively masculine or feminine, or should be blamed on either gender traditions.

There’s alot of other reasons and theories of why CWC is the way they are. Part of it seems influenced by the media/society’s perception, and preasures of losing one’s virginity, which may be partly why CWC was so obsessed with that.
Or maybe they just didn’t fully understand romsntic relations outside movies, sitcoms, and stuff as they were quite sheltered.
