It’s one of those dream team crossovers that one can only dream of; my own dream would be to see Motoi Sakuraba and Daisuke together and hear how the two would interpret each other’s work.
Motoi’s most famous work, arguably, is the music from Golden Sun, Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile and both Dark Souls games. My favorites are definitely Motoi’s solemn music arrangements.

Definitely a few in that list that I have to add to my music collection immediately.
It’s pretty difficult to find a good jrpg that doesn’t have good music attached to it, I’ve found.
Wild Arms is another jrpg series with a lot of personality in terms of music. Many of the tracks are inspired by the wild west motif and it all works so well in all of the pieces that use it. I especially like the 5th one’s due to the best sound samples present.

If anything, the one thing jrpgs have going for them is the music.
Wild Arms’ music is also pretty awesome. I mean how often do you find something wild west inspired? It helps that I’m a bit of a fan of spaghetti western music as popularized by Ennio Morricone.
Speaking of, here a little in a similar vein, from Lucasarts’ Outlaws.
