As in, ’we are too media illiterate to understand whether we approve or disapprove of this games politics. But they still mentioned no-no words so our Pavlovian Conditioning kicked in.”
Which gets extra funny when people with media literacy can recognize that Disco Elysium’s opinion on Communism is also “We don’t know if it was a net positive or negative.”
They don’t even know they are doing this image unironically.
And the cherry on top is why their updated review made it Recommended. They basically say “A racist is in charge and speaks TruthTM when you talk to him. And you can be racist. Also a woman WOMEN! are depicted as lying whores. 10/10 Based.”
Sometimes the funniest things in life are when chuds tell on themselves.
In that case, Fallout New Vegas is “woke” because it lest the character join Caesar’s Legion. Or is facism red-pilled and based in their eyes?
This is just as funny for how pathetic it is, but for reasons other than the above.
They basically rate it as “Informational”, because on the one hand it contains “LGBTQ+ messaging and characters, you can be LGBTQ+ and engage in messaging. This and a lot less were enough for other games to get their Not Recommended rating, but they are too pussy to dare claim rate the sacrosanct New Vegas as Not Recommended.
Which is just more confirmation bias for me that New Vegas Fanboys truly are the least evolved human subspecies in all of history. Actual chimps and monkeys are more human than these genetic throwbacks. Thank you for attending my seasonal TED-Talk on the missing link known as the New Vegas Fanboy.
