I have the game, Nexomon. It’s another one of those monster catching game on my Nintendo Switch. The way Pokemon Vs. Palworld is going, I might have to wean off Pokemon and go straight to Digimon instead. I believe there’s a free to play game of Digimon on Steam I can go check it out.

That’s the MMO. It’s not very good. Cyber Sleuth/Hacker’s Memory are good and goes on sale often.

Cyber Sleuth/Hacker’s Memory (it’s two games in one) is one of our few good games, and it’s beginner friendly as Digimon gets.

Ok. What’s the difference between Cyber Sleuth and Hacker’s Memory? I like turn based with random encounters, most of the time.

Mostly, CS was the first game made and HM is a story going on at the same time as CS, complete with cameos. And you’ll get that with CS/HM.

If I bought the game, Which Digital Monsters that may get me through from start to finish? I would main Renamon entirely. Even if I got lucky with a shiny version of her.

There are no shinnies (though there are a few alt versions, including most of Renamon’s line). And most teams should work (the fights are 3v3 at most, with 10 or so in reserve).

I’ll say it:

Dying Light 2 had a bad story and no amount of updates involving Guns or Quality Of Life Improvements can fix that.

It’s not like Dying Light 1’s story was that innovative or super memorable in anyway but it wasn’t as cringeworthy as whatever the hell 2 attempted.

Hacker’s Memory is more or less an expansion pack of Cyber Sleuth. So yeah, 2 games for the price of 1. I’ve put about 100 hours between the both of them, so there’s definitely plenty there if you want to get your money’s worth.

As for maining digimon, you can but with literally like 341 or so digimon to play with you’ll likely find some you’ll like more than others.

The Renamon line is easy to obtain and are some of the better ones, so yes you’ll be fine sticking with them if you really want to.
