Time to get spooky
Bioshock is a story about why businessmen men shouldn’t be leaders.
@Mikey
Companies hate unions, and people willing to fill the niche of preventing/disrupting them. No one is saying it’s moral. If it was, companies wouldn’t pay them.

Specifically Bioshock 1 a deconstruction of Ayn Rand’s Objectivism. The bottom line is, as everyone already knows, it does not work.
Bioshock 2 kinda jumped to the other extreme and gave us a deconstruction of Collectivism. It kinda lost some of the mystique because Collectivism isn’t pants on head stupid like Objectivism, so Bioshock 2 had to take an exaggerated form of its discussed ideology while Bioshock 1 got off easy by picking something that’s self-explanatorily bonkers.
Infinite does a specific form of theism, but the word escapes me for the moment.

Hmm yeah I can see it. But it feels like there should be a term more suited for the cult focus the game uses than the more umbrella “Fascist” term.

Saw this coming. Activision-Blizzard really doesn’t like changing their practices. We’ve seen this with greedy monitization, and now we’re seeing this with the lawsuit.
Good old Bobby Kotick would rather ignore marginalized employees in toxic environments, because doing something about it would lose him his $40 million bonus, even though he’s already a billionaire.
God, I hate that asshole.

Read somewhere of the word ethnotheism as in religion defined by race. The Nazis believed for example the inherent divine-ness of their preferred race.
However Infinite seemed to me to touch on some kind of hero worship, not unlike what North Korea wants its citizens to be doing when it comes to the supreme leader.
Then again, Comstock seems to be fit the average messianic / prophet-and-divine-head-of-state archetype, so theocracy also describes Columbia nicely.
But what do I know. Half the time playing the game, my focus are on Elizabeth’s amazing pair of breasts and butt.
then we found out she be our MC’s kid.
But then she’s not MY (the player’s) kid so it’s not creepy.

So it seems upgrading the Sacred Shield is out of the question because bird feathers are unobtainable in SSHD…

And now there’s a spinning wheel that’s physically impossible to get past without a stamina potion. I’m starting to remember why this game was so hated…

Just like when people were disappointed with Pokemon Sword/Shield jumped onto the bandwagon that Temtem would ‘kill it’s.
People are doing the same now that they got the OLED instead of a Switch Pro.

The way Sony is taking the PS5 in the direction that they’re going is not good at all.

August 10th we’ll FINALLY see whether or not this absurd, fucking insane Hasan Kahraman Kojima Silent Hill Metal Gear Solid conspiracy actually has some substance or we’re just collectively losing our minds.
August 10th. Mark yer calendar everybody.
Fun fact: August 12 was when PT was released on PSN App Store 7 years ago.
