Sounds like you bring your baggage into the game, honestly. And again, I’d would think that someone who is gender fluid wouldn’t have a problem playing either sex. At most, I’d see them seeing out groups or forums to “play a woman IRL,” and have video games be where they flip-flop between the two easily since they can leave their baggage at the door there.

Since I’m not feeling PoE2, so I’m going to give Baldur’s Gate a try.
And that intro doesn’t give me hope. Couldn’t we live the character’s life a little before everything goes downhill? Fallout 3’s intro is underrated.

I feel like Baldur’s Gate is going with quantity over quality with the companions, especially since they have alignments in their info (implying that they’ll likely not want to party with you if you don’t follow their alignment to a degree). I also saw that companion perma-death is a thing, which isn’t encouraging.
