I hate the Oblivion quest Paranoia.

I’ve picked up another old game, Geneforge.

I don’t know what an Amogus is but it scares and frightens me.

And the vast majority of the major city misc quests are completed. Next up, the mages guild. I think I’ll look into the town and inn quests after that questline.

This game was announced in 2012 by the way and has received over 300 million donations since then.
 
And they’re only 77% confident it’ll be ready by 2024. 12 years and 300 million$. Jesus Christ.

Why the fuck is Star Citizen so horribly designed? I understand that the scale is huge and hard to handle but had they built the foundations of the game first instead of focusing on gimmicks, it would’ve finished years ago.

You answered your own question. The money they received emboldened them to increase the games scope so They kept adding features, systems and gimmicks onto the game which would inevitably fuck up the game, necessitating more time and money to fix the game.
 
When kickstarting a game, It’s important to choose what the focus should be early on and stick with it so you have a game that does everything it’s suppose to do really well.
 
If you don’t, you’ll probably get a game that does hundreds of things very poorly.

I hate leveling up in Oblivion. At least I just have int, personality and luck to level up at this point, and the first two are in the 80s.

Bravely Default II came out at some point recently. A shame I don’t have any way to catch up with the series and play the first game.

Nearing the end of the Mage Guild questline. I did go on a spell shopping spree, using UESP to make sure I bought the stock of everyone who sold spells and am one level way from having 100 in every stat other than luck. I’m at the point where I’m sent to retrieve two artifacts.

Some of the people I follow on Twitter were complaining about things they didn’t like in the Guilty Gear Strive beta. That’s fair, but it seems like a lot of people forget the purpose of a beta release isn’t just the privilege of playing a game before its official release date, but a means for devs to discover and fix issues. Granted, I can’t really blame them, given the industry standard of “release now, fix it later,” but still.
