Considering all the praise he had for the first game, I’ve always wondered what he thought of the sequel.

Same, it would be interesting to see what his opinion is on the sequel, as for me, I enjoyed the sequel, though I thought DE was…ok, at the moment.

X is more open world than the first one and has you get inside a mech to fly.

It’s also the game where a character’s intro is that they write mech fanfiction, in a world where her job is repairing mechs. It’s not that good.
 
And being open world means nothing if it isn’t use/done well.

Well, I tried to play the Gamecube Rogue Squadron game, yet neither the wii or gamecube are reading it. I even tried another gamecube game with the latter, and it couldn’t read that one either. I’m very annoyed at the moment.
