Sort of, in that 3 was supposed to be a unrelated/gaiden game that got dolled up into a main entry.

I could swear I’m somehow underleveled for Claptastic Voyage.

I’m glad to see CA fixed that battle map in Warhammer II with the giant statue of Sigmar. Now the statue is smaller and there is a clearing in the forest around it so enemies can’t hide as well.

My video game Backlog! It contains every video game I have ever played…..well the ones I have chosen to acknowledge along with statuses to see how many I’ve beaten and fully completed. I also have games that I haven’t finished and aside from the ones listed on my backlog, I choose not to list any more unfinished games.

So Smite is adding Cthulhu as a playable god.

Cthulhu isn’t even technically a “god”, he’s more of a dread priest to beings far greater than even him. He’s like Jesus or Mohammad to the truly “godly” beings like Azathoth and Yog.
 
Though, I guess by mortal standards he’d be a god of sorts.

Now I need to read my lovecraft omnibus again.

I’m thinking of giving Daggerfall a try.

Got my first dog mount in FFXIV.

Excellent. Try Daggerfall unity. It’s pretty much Daggerfall Remastered and has mod support.

Just play Bloodborne, since it does Lovecraft better than Lovecraft.

Hope you enjoy it. I’ve heard that traveling on foot in that game is pointless, since even if you go in a straight line, the game will turn your character in random directions, and almost every location is available to fast travel to from the start, like Oblivion if they wanted to remove any sense of exploration.

Well, it’s more that it’s a much more fleshed out rpg than even Morrowind, but it original Arena and it are extremely dated now, but they were revolutionary when they came out. Wish they would use Julian Lefay’s design philosophy for the series. Todd is great at world building and refined mechanics but not at making a fleshed out rpg.

Last of us got a remaster less then 5 years after its original release. If the mere existence of a remaster indicates the original is shit than the last of us is a landfill filled with almost as much shit as your brains right now.
 
It’s a 20 year old game. A remaster that updated the textures, resolution and control scheme for modern systems while leaving the core experience intact made entirely by a loving fan base is an indicator of Daggerfalls lasting appeal.

I’m not sure. I just downloaded Daggerfall off the Bethesda website and followed the instructions of unity. I’m not even sure I needed to download the base game.

Daggerfall unity is just Daggerfall optimised for modern systems. You’ll be able to use mods but they’re optional.

I say play the OG game and see if it holds up as much as Red loves to say it does of if it’s just the “remaster” that’s good.

The only thing I don’t like about the old games is the dice roll combat, does the unity remaster change that?
