From what I’ve heard, the RDR2 PC version is now working properly after its first month.
As for RDR1, the tale of how poorly made it is is legendary, so it’s very likely they saw the cost of porting to be too high relative to whatever they could make back. I still would put money on an RDR1 DLC for 2.
It can’t be worse than how the Batman Arkham Asylum PC port literally forgot to remove a deliberate bug before release that was designed to prevent leakers from progressing too far…
For those unaware, before the release of the PC port of that game, the programmers put in a deliberate bug that prevented Batman’s gliding ability from working. This was meant to prevent leakers and pirates from getting too far into the game… EEEEEXCEPT they forgot to remove this at first when the game was officially released, making the PC port literally unwinnable after a certain port, until they eventually properly patched it. WHOOPS.
