I had to hit up five stores before finding one that has actually had it in stock, but I finally have it.  
One copy of Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition.

I will say I get a pure DnD vibe from Daggerfall.

The game must be unexpectedly popular around where I live, because in the first four stores, I found a space where they should have been, but they were out of stock.

It is kinda a cult-classic, so much it’s been rereleased for every Nintendo system sense the Wii. The SSB series also probably helped popularize it.

You know, despite the hate, the plot, the writing and design, I am enjoying Sonic Forces so far.

I’ve gotten Gage’s perk through stealing from the Goodneighbor hotel and weapon modding, and started going bobblehead hunting with Strong, and the charisma one has been obtained today. My affinity with him was 591 last I checked.

RNG yes, everything is a dice roll, just like DnD. But it also has the depth of DnD. Not the friends laughing though.

The company is the part of D&D I think that’s the most important element of it, and that D&D-like games often lack.

True. I mean it’s kind of hard to have friends in your DnD like game. Unless they’re sitting by you as you play. Idk if I’d want friends laughing at my sword attacks missing.

Plus, it’s usually the critical failures at the worst times that get the most laughs, like rolling three natural 1’s in a row to get on a boat and having the DM take pity on you.

You know, it’s funny how different Fallout NV is compared to 1 and 2 when you look past that you can RP in them.

Perhaps when Julian lefay Makes that Daggerfall successor he’s working on he’ll introduce a companion system. That’s the closest you’ll get. Baldurs gate, a literal DnD game and a classic in it’s own right was a siingleplayer game. Most RPG’s are. I don’t see how that is a strike against them. You wanna laugh with your friends about the game? That’s when you swap your Daggerfall stories. Like that time I slept in a Dungeon only to be Rudley awoken by an angry centaur, or the time a racist barmaid challenged me to a dual because she hated nords, or that time I got sent to jail for a year then exiled from the first town I visited because I stole a shirt.

I saw they added a new expansion to Age of Wonders Planetfall and was kinda hyped because it was a completely new faction, but looking into killed all the hype, they are selling Gnomes but marketing them as Orcs is the best analysis i can give,
