Kind of weird that the FF9 version of the Ultima Weapon doesn’t have the usual “does more damage based on your current and maximum HP level” mechanics that most other versions of the Ultima Weapon have.
Final Fantasy has a lot of shit like that tbh. (The fact that it doesn’t have bubbles marking its location unlike other Dead Pepper Chocobo treasures doesn’t help)
XIV’s Ultima doesn’t have anything like that either. Worst thing you have to worry about with that is it hitting enrage which is a guaranteed party wipe.
EDIT: Although I don’t actually know if Ultima from The Weapon’s Refrain has anything like that…
True. Apparently the “Zodiac Age”/“International Zodiac Job System” version of XII at least greatly simplified the treasure chest mechanics, so that’s one less frustrating thing I have to deal with when I get to that one.
NIBBA WHAT?! 50 BUCKS?! Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Age is FITTY BUCKS?!
Man scratch that. I was finna maybe replay it considering I never actually finished the damn thing on my PS2 but 50 bucks isn’t something I throw around, much less on a nostalgia trip (more like tryna complete an unfinished biznis but still.).
I’ve been playing a lot of Persona 5 royale and trying to make up nicknames for all the teammate combos. Here’s what I got so far. There are some small spoilers so just in case.
I don’t get how people are able to play through resident evil without ever using the item box. I’m constantly having to run back to the drop off things I can’t carry. At least, when my inventory isn’t completely empty because I ran out of ammo thanks to my craptactular aim.
