Finally beat a very difficult boss this morning on White Clothes RPG. I realized that I’m still underleveled and finally somehow, won!

Dammit all. I’m finally getting around to trying State of Decay 2, but it needs me to have an Xbox Live account.

I got one but I’ve long forgot the password. I also forgot the answer to my security questions, and got rid of the phone that was tied to the account. Spent the last week or so running through Microsoft’s shit customer service to try and get this fixed but no luck.

I said screw it and tried to refund the game but whoops! I got in in the Steam Winter Sale much more than 2 weeks ago. So I got auto-rejected.

Just great.

You’re talking to a masochist who’s eyeing the boss rush with every character plus the last of the achievements.

2024 was a good year for Shadow the Hedgehog. Sonic x Shadow was a good game, something that is a coin flip with the franchise. Sonic 3 was a fun movie.

Speaking of the game, the final boss was hype. Bringing back Black Doom was the perfect call, and making his fight 2 stages was wise. The first is what you’d expect, a more or less rematch with his final form from last time. But then you drop his health and he just powers up to a new form. You think he’d get a new boss theme? Nope. A remix of All Hail Shadow plays instead.

In a game about Shadow coming to terms with his heritage and identity the final boss comes and tries to steal the spotlight. But no, his super form is overridden by Shadow’s theme song and the game makes it clear this fight isn’t Shadow having a boss battle with his dad, it’s Black Doom losing a boss fight with his son.
