How far into Metal Gear Solid am I? I just finished the part where Snake has to escape the cell after being caught by Liquid Snake.

Sniper Wolf was MUCH easier after I turned on the Analog button on my PS1 controller. The regular D-Pad isn’t precise enough for the Sniper controls.

You have to complete 3 more discs. Thankfully they are all the same disc.

An average playthrough on the easiest difficulty can be beaten in roughly 5-8 hours. The game can be beaten at around 3 hours if you know what you’re doing just like RE(Foxhound rank requires you to beat the game under 3 hours on the hardest difficulty)

AFAIK, the only reason the game needed two discs was because of how much space the cutscenes took up by themselves. It’s even more insane since unlike the Final Fantasy titles, I don’t think any of the cinematics in MGS were pre-rendered.

How do I get up the communications tower? I keep getting killed by the guards.

Fatalis in MHW feels like the fun police.

It’s a Hind D, which doesn’t make it sound any less sexy.

I’ve returned Echoes of Wisdom to my library today. I’ll ask this now since I think the game is hinting at it: Does this take place in the Link to the Past world? The Link, map, and zoras all indicate it to me. Even the void could be the other world collapse after the Triforce was claimed in LttP, and a separate timeline to Link Between Worlds where it became a mirror realm to the point of including grumpy versions of people in the main world.

Been a rather interesting couple of weeks in terms of what I’ve been playing.

I’m still in the middle of Unicorn Overlord, if it wasnt obvious. I wasn’t really vibing with the first act (I thought it went on for too long, and the major boss for that area was unnecessarily difficult in comparison to the rest of the game), but the game almost immediately shot up in quality once I got to Drakenhold. Yeah, there’s still some annoying bullshit that they really don’t prepare you for, but the game design from that point on mostly feels a lot more balanced and reasonable, while still punishing players who just brute forces their way through it. So yeah, it’s good.

Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves is… well, it’s hard to really tell how I feel so far. It’s in a similar boat to how I felt about Crash 4, where it does a lot of really fantastic things, but ends up stumbling pretty badly in a lot of key aspects. Obviously, it’s still a lot more fun to play this than trying to 106% that fucking game, but my point still stands. But I’m only halfway through the game, so who knows? Maybe I’ll be eating my own words by the end.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero… I love this game, but I also hate it’s fucking guts.
