Fortnite has lost the class action lawsuit and now has to pay back almost $250 million to players. If you own Fortnite you can look up the details and file a complaint to get a share of that.

This should explain it better than when I tried.

They were alleged to use “dark patterns” (a real term by the by) and other deceptive and predatory practices to fleece customers, particularly easily duped children with access to their parents’ credit cards.

It’s basically loot boxes “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gambling” 2.0, and luckily the law sided with the customers again this time.

Yeah, that tracks. Wonder if crossovers with the game will go quiet for a while after this.

NGL, in “Paper Mario” when you go to the Koopa’s house in Koopa Village (the one with the radio) and change it to the second station, it’ll play the ending credits from “Super Mario World”. I honestly didn’t realize this because I hadn’t heard the song until I beat the GBA version roughly a year later (I didn’t own an SNES, only played the console at various places and a friend’s house). So I thought the song was supposed to be a weird remix of the opening demo in “Paper Mario”.

What game arguably has the strongest standard non-special zombie enemy?

For me, it’s RE2 Remake.

They can potentially survive a shotgun blast to the gut and somehow still have the energy to break through a door.

They might be a bit on the slow side but damn do they refuse to die without a fight.

Playing the original and the remake sure made a contrast.

In the original you could survive being hit like 7-9 times, meanwhile zombos took only like 4 or 5 handgun shots to go down. In the remake you die from like 4 bites and zombos will still be walking toward you up to the 10th headshot.

does necromorphs count as xombies, because they fit the bill; reanimated corpse held together by magic (or science or magic-science) acting as servants to a higher intelligence.

so yeah them regular slasher bois ignore headshots and body shots and even if you taken their heads clean off they could still break vents and pry doors open.

edit: oh you mean like, gameplay wise? REmake 2. I have no clue why they make zombies bullet sponges.

Oh necromorph, not xenomorph my bad lol,

regular zombos should have the same durability as ppl do, so having them be more resilient to a headshot is bewildering.
necromorph slashers aren’t immune to headshots. they just happen to not need the head to move around and attack.

Sorry, forgot to put the /s at the end of my post so you’d know I was joking.

My gut tells me the xenomorph just dies in a stillbirth. Facehuggers don’t implant eggs, they deposit a tumor-like growth into their victims that grows a xenomorph. Even when a chestburster is surgically removed, the host still dies from the (literal) alien cancer growing and sucking up all the body’s nutrients (like normal cancer). Necromorphs both are made up of dead tissue and already use their entire metabolism to fuel the transformation into the various creatures, so there’s literal fuel for the cancer to draw upon and what is there will likely kill it anyway.

But then I remember that the Feeder necromorph are still living people who ate necromorph biomass and suffered a slow transformation. And the Alien books introduced the - ahem - “Necromorph”, a xenomorph that gestated inside a person suffering from necrosis. The NecroXenomorph inherited and adapted the degeneration into itself.

So yeah while the most likely answer is that the gestating chestburster just straight up dies inside a necromorph, there is some vague chicanery in both series that opens the door to a possible hybrid. Though I’d say this hypothetical hybrid would be under the Brethen Moon’s thrall instead of a part of a Queen’s hive.
