There are the “Thousand Year Door HD” rumors.

“Oragami King” was a step in the correct direction, but it still lacked some RPG elements. Intelligent Systems said because of the “Mario & Luigi” RPG series they felt they didn’t have to make PM fully RPG. Now that M&L and AlphaDream are dead, maybe they will take PM back to it’s roots.

Also, apparently the “Miyamoto made PM lack story/hates stories” rumors are bumpkis, (like the old fake “Muyamoto hates DKCountry” rumors) and the PM developers admitted it was their fault, because they assumed players didn’t care about story, because hardly any praised the story of Super Psper Mario in the Club Nintendo surveys.
(Which they used for feedback back then.)

Speaking of remakes, the Square Enix staff has been asking the head of the Final Fantasy team for a FF 6 remake. Neat.

And if they don’t commit, they’ll get sand on their boots.

There are so many things they could do for a Nintendo Direct.

Three Houses was back in 2019. Other than two spin-offs and a celebration title, not much. At least an announcement on what the next game is going to be is what I want (my money is on a remake).

With a heavy focus on old characters. And I’m just asking for confirmation that they are working on a new game and if it’s a remake, of what.

Apparently the reason Mark never finished Amnesia: Rebirth was due to the game softlocking him and he wasn’t going to replay it back to that part.

In terms of 3rd-party reveals, I’m kinda hoping we get something Spyro related (preferably without it being an update to the new live-service Crash game). Crash got his big new 4th game, so I don’t see why Spyro should be left out.

I really want a new Starfox but I’m not expecting it any time soon unfortunately. A new 2D Mario(that isn’t NSMB) and a remake of SMRPG sound pretty cool. I also would love Metroid Prime 4 but it’s going to be close, I think now is an apt time to see it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it no shows. I really…really want them to dial back on the Pokemon, Fire Emblem and Xenoblade this time around, kinda getting tired of them always getting heavily featured all the time, like bordering annual releases for the latter two(and I say this as someone who does want Xenoblade X to get ported at some point.

Speaking of which, I get the feeling this Direct is going to be Port/Remaster heavy, which is a double edged sword. Like, ultimately that makes the Twilight years for the Switch really boring, but at the same time I’m sitting here praying for games like Xenoblade X and Windwaker/Twilight Princess HD like you wouldn’t believe. I also hear rumblings of F-Zero GX getting the remaster treatment, which would undoubtedly leave me ecstatic, especially given F-Zero is due for a comeback and that particular game is becoming harder to get.

As for 3rd Parties, I think Persona 3 Reloaded is guaranteed. I really hope there’s something Megaman related that isn’t just X Dive Offline. I would love Megaman X9, but a Legends collection would be more than welcome. And for my bold prediction, I think we’ll see something Metal Gear related, mainly for the Master Collection. I think it’s weird they haven’t announced what platforms the Master Collection will appear on beyond the Playstation, despite MGSD having it’s platforms announced, even SGF and the Xbox Showcase didn’t show anything, but I think that’s because it’ll be announced on the Switch, probably with the announcement of Ghost Babel on NSO and/or Twin Snakes as a bonus Switch exclusive

Played FO 76 again so I could get the last achievement missing. Which meant starting a new character.

I still stand by my assertion that it’s fine now. I never played it at launch, but did hear of all the absurdities surrounding it. But after all these updates and expansions the current version is definitely a solid experience.

I hate the end of quests though. Playing a new character reminded me how this game loves to toss a 3 star Legendary Sentry Bot as the “final boss” of a quest for…pretty much every quest form the mid-game equivalent and onward. And unfortunately that last achievement meant I needed to beat a handful of “mid-game” quests with “early-mid” or “late-early” equipment, since I was kinda rushing it.

Maybe we’ll finally get Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD on the Switch if that’s the case.
I’m hoping for but not expecting anything for Prime 4.

No. Konami’s page even said “coming to the latest platforms”.
If it was a PS5 exclusive, they would have said so
