picked up tears of the kingdom and honestly I can barely enjoy myself because of what it along with it’s predecessor has done to zelda games. In isolation they’re good games in context they’re disasters my criticism can easily be summed up in a single question: where the heck is link’s hookshot?

Mortal Kombat’s gore make it hard for non-mature ESRB games to fit in within the mold. They only accepted DC at some point because comics are often just as grimdark as them but most other franchises are not a good fit there.

I’m still trying to figure out how Scorpion and Subzero being brothers in this timeline work. The Subzero brothers are Chinese and part of the Lin Kuei. Scorpion is Japanese, and a part of the knockoff Shirai Ryu clan.
I can see in this timeline one of the clans being founded before or during the game’s story, but I don’t see how they can be brothers if they are still of different nationalities.
Still, between Bi-Han and Hanzo of all people being brothers and Mileena and Kitana having a good relationship with each other, this timeline sure seems to be wanting to shake up the dynamics between the kombatants.
Still no word on which Kung Lao this one is though.

But I think if they are blood related maybe the new universe changed their nationality? It happened with Raiden. He looked and sounded Caucasian in the other games, now in this one he’s Chinese.
