These games are ostensibly about replayability. Most aren’t, but hey. But then you get to The Quarry and yes, this game has a ton of replayability where tons of your choices can have multiple outcomes all over the place, ranging from insignificant to outright story changing. But investing some 9 hours into each playthrough is an ask, especially when it can easily be shortened to some 2-3.
Life Is Strange is the only one that gets it right. First time you see a line of dialogue, you have to listen to it fully. But if you hear it again, whether in a separate playthrough or a reload or using the in-game time rewind power, you can use a fast forward button to speed up right to the first unseen line of dialogue.
So yeah it can be done and I wish it was done more often.
