Video Game General 2: Definitive/Remastered Edition

Valve has announced that they will be raffling away a FREE Steam Deck to avrandom steam user for every minute of the Game Awards

So around 150 free Steam Decks in total

Volvo is giving away one whole Steam Deck every minute during the game awards.

Just log on to Steam, go to Store, click News, then scroll down to the announcement to register for the raffle.

As long as you are registered and are watching the show through Steam you are entered into the drawing.

What I meant to ask is, why don’t the fans just shut up already? It’s been decades since the game was released, and from what I’ve read there’s a group of characters in the game that, overseas, would be seen as offensive.

The word “gypsies” is in Magypsies, and SOMEBODY is bound to take offense to that.

Now I feel like playing some Deus Ex.

I don’t know whether to main Demonology or Destruction Warlock, both are insanely fun specs, Destro gets you what’s basically Fire mage but cooler, Demo gets you some really interesting spells and a shitload of demons, including a portal that can spawn a Pit Lord.

Looking more into them it more has to deal with how they look

They are masculine looking people dressed up in dresses and makeup.
Apparently they were based of sone friends the creator of the fame knew who were into drag abd cross dressing, something he meant no harm or ill will by, but some people thought ot cane across as looking like a transgender stereotype (not helping as they are seen as “weird” in game from what I looked up)

Abd yes the “gypsie” part of the name is a small issue too since Gypsie is a slur often used against Romanians and other Eastern-Europeans

That meme is more fitting than it has any right to be.

I was about to call it Dead Space Remake. But then I remembered Dead Space actually has a remake on the way. And that made me equal parts happy and sad.

But anyone try the Not Dead Space Remake yet?

I just started a walkthrough from MK.

Looks nice so far, but I have a feeling the cynicism may ruin the experience.

And it is not a slow burn by any means.

New Amnesia game is coming, set in WW1 in a bunker, and you only have 1 bullet at a time
It’s funny that each new Amnesia gets progressively later in time.
