Though:
This is more to strangle Sony and Nintendo. Ms will buy 3rd parties left and right until Sony and Nintendo have their 1st party games and a handful of 3rd parties not owned by MS. Then they will ask for gamepass on their platforms.

I know what a monopoly is, but I see your point though.
However, there’s always people who whine about shit like this, since they’ll lose a game.
This one though, is even bigger.
COD is PS’s moneymaker, so that’s a huge blow.
Not to mention the fact that Crash and Spyro are now part of Microsoft. The irony being they were PlayStation’s mascots.
If Microsoft buys EA, it’s definitely a final nail for Sony.
And Nintendo probably might end up purchased by Microsoft if EA doesn’t work out.
There’s a saying that fits here: “There’s always a bigger fish.”

That’s because console wars care way too much about graphics, so Nintendo being different causes the brains of MS and Sony fanboys to overload since they can’t understand how a company can look past higher-res graphics for utility. Never bother with console wars since it’s just fanboys flinging their shit.

You do know that Monster Hunter Rise, a switch-only game, is on Steam, right? And that would call for a partnership, not an outright purchase. Nintendo and MS have worked together before, like with Minecraft, so I don’t see why they couldn’t now.
