True. Hopefully you can get through it on a +2 flask (using purple moss after reaching dry land and quiting out to reset the enemies should help). What item did you start with, anyway?

I started with a Master Key, so i could get some stuff from blight town early on,

Turns out She’s not super good against ranged combat so it was actually pretty easy, only used one flask against her,

I’d suggest the witch ring, personally. It gives some nice lore and is a pain to get otherwise.

Going to play some fantasy France later and try a Bretonia campaign.

I normally shy away from cav heavy armies. I hate cycle-charging, I don’t have the micro for it.

But, there’s a bowman/yomen/hypogrif build that doesn’t require much cycling. Going to go for that with lots of heroes in the army.

I got to a point in Dread and. . . ADEM is not going to be happy with Samus.
