I'm still trying to figure out how Scorpion and Subzero being brothers in this timeline work. The Subzero brothers are Chinese and part of the Lin Kuei. Scorpion is Japanese, and a part of the knockoff Shirai Ryu clan.
I can see in this timeline one of the clans being founded before or during the game's story, but I don't see how they can be brothers if they are still of different nationalities.
Still, between Bi-Han and Hanzo of all people being brothers and Mileena and Kitana having a good relationship with each other, this timeline sure seems to be wanting to shake up the dynamics between the kombatants.
Still no word on which Kung Lao this one is though.
