It did feel like the month went by quickly

Starting today (February 3) until March 3 will be the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Manila.

The worst fighting grounds in the Pacific Theater during WW2.

We used to be the most beaufiful city and the most American city in Asia pre-WW2, but after this it was reduced to a pile of rubble by the American shelling and bombing run during this timeframe.

We also lost quarter of the city’s population due to the massacre perpetrated by the desperate and losing Japanese forces trapped in Manila.

Feb 7 in my place, Feb 6 in America.

I have officially survived the 27 Club. ALHAMDULILLAH!
