…do you think it’s dangerous to send condoms over the mail? Like, in an envelope or something? Would there be enough friction to potentially break them?

I mean I guess technically condoms probably get shipped out so it probably makes no difference.
 
But I see them possibly getting risked of getting damaged if just sending them out randomly.

I found some color-changing condoms and want to send them to a friend in her letter as a joke. However, if she chooses to use it - which is perfectly okay with me - I want to be sure that there won’t be any holes in it from the friction of the envelope moving through the mailing system. Also, I don’t know if there’s any temperature concerns when it comes to condoms, so that worries me too.

I just had a good idea for a shirt I want to put in my comic.

I wonder if there’s anything I can do to “protect” them? I mean, condoms out of box get shipped out as free samples from condom companies all of the time, but I don’t know what they send them in. Maybe mini cardboard boxes to reduce friction? Would sending them in a bubble-wrapped envelope make any difference? I dunno. I might just send it anyway and let her know not to use them (the joke isn’t that it’s a condom, it’s the fact that it’s a color changing condom). She’s not an idiot, she’ll get it. Plus, she lives in NYC, so free condoms are is as common as the rampant homeless population discarded gum.

Lube, on the other hand, would probably be safe. So there’s always that to fall back on.
