The Virus Outbreak Thread

I took my second shot of the vaccine. So far no symptoms.
 
And I drank lots of water before I took the shot. And bought Cheetos on the way home.

I was going to get my second shot today, but I had diarrhea yesterday - likely cause by the 2 Spicy McChicken Sandwiches from McDonald’s.

Everyone gets the two shots meanwhile my family chose the cursed one known as Johnson&Johnson, thank goodness no symptoms

So there is a conflict between the Vaccine Manufactures and CDC & FDA about getting Booster shots.

Certain behaviors and systems need to change because of all this.
 
No more going to work if you have a high fever, companies need to implement better sick leave. Wear a mask if you’re sick and out in public. Better monitoring of outbreaks in the population. And rural hospitals need larger trauma centers.

In Malaysia, some bosses refuse to let their workers work from home, so this leads to more Covid cases.

A medical expert said to expect a “surprising” amount of deaths in the recent covid surge amoung the unvaccinated.
 
There is nothing surprising about it.

Malaysia is becoming like India. I kept praying, but everything only gets worse!

I would have done the same considering that Malaysia now has 11000s of cases today. But there are some good news:
 

MP’s in the UK are going to pass a law that makes it mandatory for care home workers to have the COVID vaccine.
 
Ant-Vaxxers are not happy about this.

Anyone else remember those creepy fucking videos in China with those dead bodies wrapped in body bags flipping and flopping around like fish?
 
A variant that raises the dead would at least be much more entertaining or attention grabbing, (so much to where all the anti-vaxxers would shit themselves), than what we currently have.

Speaking of zombies, when I first heard of “Delta variant”, I was thinking of clone troopers from Star Wars as warriors of Nurgle, the god of plagues.
 
Nowadays, many poorer Malaysians are seeking food because they cannot go to work due to the lockdown. There is a food crisis in my country.
 
Also, cases went up to 13000s today.

Anti-vaxxers should be sent to labor camps and be made to wear little patches with dunce caps on them. Not just for speaking their mind, they can do that if they want, but if they refuse to get a vaccine when offered, fuck em.

Speaking of which, societies are already starting to punish anti-vaxxers:
 
In China, certain towns have made it mandatory for residents to be vaccinated. Those who don’t get vaccinated cannot use public transport or enter public spaces.
 
In Sarawak, dining-in will be allowed from tomorrow onwards.

Things aren’t looking too good for Southeast Asia atm.
 
Looks like only us, Brunei, and Singapore are the one’s that aren’t experiencing this for now.
