Anyway, I find it ironic and stupid how some doomsday theories claim that COVID 19 was a man-made virus to have families be together in their last days despite many governments acting in way that doesn’t fit this alleged “plan”.
Posting “I’m a Retired CIA Agent who won’t provide proof of my position that claims to have info about the apocalypse but I won’t explain anything about the specifics since the global elite will do it eventually anyway lol” on an anonymous and unverified Facebook account is as credible as someone posting “My uncle work works at Nintendo and he says that Raiden will be in the next Super Smash Brothers”.

This isn’t the first time a I’ve seen someone claiming to be a government agent make false statements about a nearing apocalypse and it certainly won’t be the last.
I mean this coronavirus conspiracy craze reminds me about all the insane and shit theories that floated around during the Ebola outbreak and 2012 Apocalypse scare.
You can cue the speculation that this is a sign they never really got the infection under control…
But regardless of the merits of that theory, I think this should be a sign to the U.S. and other countries that even if or when the infection rate starts to slow down, any restrictions in place need to be rolled back slowly. Yeah, people are tired of being stuck indoors, and businesses are worried about shuttering, but better another month or two of fiscal pain and boredom than a series of on again/off again outbreaks of the Wu Flu.
In local news: Texas is now up to 1700+ cases with 23 deaths, with 367 cases here in Dallas County. Texas HHS now has a cool new map to give updates.
Does anyone of you still know the intro from the videogame Deux Ex from the year 2000? Source
Ever since Corona, I’ve been having this thought: “Why contain it? Let it spill over into the schools and churches. Let the bodies pile up in the streets. In the end, they’ll beg us to save them.”
No, I don’t follow any kind of conspiracy theory, but sometimes I think that despite all the mess, there are still certain people who benefit massively from this pandemic.
@DarkObsidian
oof. it’s always hilarious when an event in video game you played years ago suddenly became super relevant to us today–by coincidence, anyway.
also I’m glad that you’re still posting :D
wait what’s this I heard US cases reaching 100k? Wow! They’re testing faster than I thought! the USA might just make it out sooner than later! Very good job by the NHS for real.
Meanwhile here in Spain they’re STILL struggling and deciding on mass-testing. PPL ARE DYING. ASSHOLES! The longer the spanish govt wait around the more trouble they’ll find themselves in.
@Meanlucario
Trump being unnecessarily petty about how the governors respond to Federal aid, and a bad look, but nothing in there about denying needed aid if the governors don’t kiss up.
If you want to bash the man, at least do it for real reasons - like having too much of a hands off approach during the initial months and signs that this virus was going to spread like wildfire out of China and across the globe, or being too lackadaisical about possibly loosening restrictions or being too eager to open things up again too soon, or just doing what he’s doing here which is being a shit-talker when there’s no need to be.
