Australia's completely bungled the vaccine rollout, especially Victoria. The fact I have to wait 19 years before I'm eligible for the vaccine while if I lived anywhere else in the world I could get it right now is quite frankly very disgusting. I agree with whoever said people who vote for Scott Morrison or Dan Andrews in the next elections should be thrown out of the country.

Is it too soon to worry for a possible surge in this country that's less worrisome because the vaccines only lessens the severity of the virus? It's really uplifting to see the cases continue to decline, but still fearful for a surge.

Victoria is going back to full Stage 4 restrictions, minus curfew, and with the addition of being able to leave the house to get vaccinated if you're 40+.

1. Sarawak has started a full lockdown for 2 weeks due to rising Covid cases. Today, over 8,000 people have been infected, and the high numbers are due to more accurate tests conducted on people in Selangor, the worst-hit state.

2. In the Dharavi district of Mumbai, active Covid cases have dropped to 50 people, in contrast with surrounding areas having 204 to 254. New daily cases have dropped from 99 in April to below 5. The low Covid cases are due to an extensive testing method conducted on every household: tracing, tracking, testing and treating.

3. This reflects a steady decline in new cases in India due to lockdowns and more antibodies. New infections have dropped from 392,000 in early May to 237,000.

4. Malaysia has brought an additional 12.8 doses from Pfizer, which will cover 70% of the population. 2,223,000 doses of Pfizer will arrive on June, with 444,600 per week.

drought in south China, and the sheer incompetence of Taiwan government.
Guangdong, Fujian and Hainan had the same trouble, yet they have no problem with water supply. Whereas in Taiwan, instead of seeking solutions, their leader went to pray to God and let the air force spray 8 tons of water using a paratrooper jet. Are you gonna blame Mainland China for that too? They voted for their leaders. It serves them right.

How is artificial rainfall achieved? By throwing specially designed dry ice bombs in the skies, forcing the vapor in the air to condense, become cloud-like and rain. NOT spraying water directly from the skies.

As for vaccines, they hoped their papa America to generously offer a batch of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. America banned vaccine export to them. They then went after the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines discarded by EU countries. AstraZeneca declined it. In the meantime Mainland China gave them an option by Sinovac. They refused to take it. It's not our fault that they are in this situation.

And in the last few weeks they also suffered a mass power outage spanning half the island. I don't know whether that has been resolved though.

No. Artificial rainfall is not suitable for desert climate. The humidity is too low for that because there's not enough vapor to condense. (For example, the humidity of Mojave desert is below 10% most of the time.) What they would need is underground water resources and to make water diversion projects to transfer water from a big water body, like reservoirs, lakes or Missisipi River.

for example, a westward canal from upstream of Rio Grande. And if handled properly, it won't drain the river and affect the Mexican people downstream.

As Malaysia has suffered under overloaded hospitals and around 8000+ new cases yesterday, the government decided to impose a full lockdown on June 1 for 2 weeks.

The lockdown will go in three stages:

Phase One is when only 2 people can meet at one time, to focus on lowering Covid cases
Phase Two is when some economic sectors can reopen, for four weeks
Phase Three is when the May MCO will be used, with more economic sectors.

At the meantime, Malaysians are looking forward for a coming wave of more vaccines, around 6-7 million.

Malaysia have bought an additional 12.8 million doses from Pfizer, totalling 44.8 million doses, covering 70% of the population.

2,223,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine will arrive in Jun, about 444,600 per week. — Ghows Azzam, a government official

The government will be acquiring a total of 8.2 million doses of Sinovac vaccine by the end of June, with 3.8 million of them through fill and finish by Pharmaniaga Life Science Sdn Bhd.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said 4.4 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine was imported directly from China with 400,000 already distributed and one million doses had arrived while the remaining three million would be received by the end of next month.

"..from the Pharmaniaga Life Science Sdn Bhd plant, 1.8 million are ready while two more million will be available by the end of June, thus giving the government a total of 8.2 million doses then," he told a media conference after witnessing the 'fill and finish' process at Pharmaniaga Life Science Sdn Bhd factory in Puchong near here today.

The programme’s coordinating minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, today announced that the federal government will be supplying 4.4 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine for all 2.2 million eligible Sarawakians with extra for buffer, and therefore Sarawak would not have to buy its own vaccines.

“I hope that with this assurance we will be able to see Sarawak achieve its target (to vaccinate 2.2 million of its residents) by the end of August and become the first state to complete the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme,” he told a virtual press conference after attending the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) meeting at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.

With the assurance and commitment by the federal government, Khairy said an estimated 380,000 doses will be sent to Sarawak per batch beginning June, until the 4.4 million doses have been fulfilled by the end of August.
