@Wiimeiser
The US has a program capable of engineering programmable viruses. But If we wanted to hypothetically kill a ton of the population, it wouldn’t have been with a relitively low mortality rate virus.
@MagpulPony
Yeah, apocalyptic viruses would kill and spread quickly. If covid was apocalyptic, the hotspots would be reporting tens to hundreds of thousands dead by now. If not more. Covid has about a 3% mortality, but can cause life-long complications.
@MagpulPony
Not the end of the world? But about the fact that you can get reinfect? Does that mean that everyone who recover still have the virus in them?
I will have to say this, STOP LISTENING TO FEAR-MONGERS! The Coronavirus will NOT lead to global extinction, stop overhyping this, and don’t listen to the ill-informed idiots on Social Media.
@Background Pony #C4A2
That’s the case with almost every virus. They lie dormant inside your body after infection. Its just that after your body successfully fights it, it develops anti-bodies that can stop further infection.
@SombrLiz
In my case it’s mostly my own paranoia. But even then I highly doubt the virus will kill a majority of the global population. Though the fact the virus could potentially be capable of pulling a herpes doesn’t sound promising, to put it lightly…
And for the love of god, stop believing in things that are not true like “Drinking Corona brand Beer,” or “I will get the Coronavirus from eating Chinese Food.” Cause if you do, you are officially more dumber than a sack of Hammers.
Or think that wearing and hoarding face masks will somehow make you safe. Health officials worldwide recommend them for sick people to prevent non-sick people from getting infected, not for the general population to avoid contracting the illness.
