Regardless of personal opinions of the current protests, do you think that there will be a sudden spike in cases in America now because of them?
 
(i know another wave would probably happen, but i think the current protests might be speeding it up)

If the riots had been confined to just Minneapolis, probably not. But since it’s happening everywhere, yes I expect to see a big resurgence in major cities in maybe a week.

I hope how poorly this pandemic is recorded and used as an example of how to not handle future pandemics.

Seeing how people are acting during the first wave, I can easily see that.

Looks like the number of recoveries passed the number of active cases today. While the number of daily new cases is still trending up, the number of daily deaths is trending down, and the running recovery rate is up to 89%.
