Pride. They don’t want to admit that “the public” got one over on them because they have a very dismissive view of people in general. BreadTube really thinks people are too stupid to know how advertising works and need them to explain everything to them as if they don’t live in the same society they do.

Pride, Ego, Stubbornness, and actually having to accept that the bigoted beliefs they hold are not “the exception to the rule.”

Backstory is a contradictory notion. If a character’s backstory is interesting, why isn’t the story taking place then?

Is the present the most interesting part of your character’s life? And if not, why aren’t you showing us that?

Because I’m not going to suggest someone write something that is already over-saturated and over-represented as it is. Why the fuck would I encourage someone to just be like everything else?

Is it weird that when I think of men who think of girls and boobs it’s like ‘ew’, but when I think of a woman thinking the same thing it’s like ‘cute’. I don’t know. Maybe it’s years of dealing with dudes who only have one thing on the brain and convey it in bleh ways but I know girls can too.
